Simple but effective, huge improvement in drying time!

I am not often moved to write product reviews. But this is so good, I'm making an exception.

Since I moved into my house, I have not been able to fully insert the part of my dryer's lint trap that comes out. I figured there was a gob of lint at the bottom blocking it. I tried to grab it, but my fingers wouldn't reach. I tried my hand vacuum but it was too wide to fit in. The dryer usually took at least two runs to fully dry a list of laundry, and occasionally 3 runs, so I knew there was a problem with lint build up.

I ordered this and tried it today. I could not believe how much lint it pulled out. The lint in the vacuum in my photo is only about one third of what it pulled out, because there were huge compacted clumps of lint that it sucked into the opening but were too big to go in the hose so I just grabbed them and threw them away.

For my first test load after removing the lint build up, I did not go easy. I or in a loaf of puffy winter coats and snow pants, which usually dry slower than a birthday load off laundry. It was fully dry with one run through. This was a HUGE improvement in performance for my dryer, all thanks to this simple but effective product. I am so looking forward to faster drying laundry from here on out!

Hear ye hear ye. This will clean your dryer for sure. So let me start by saying I was only trying to do a basic cleaning because my dryer was taking forever to dry. After a few YouTube videos I decided to buy this product to get all the lint out of my machine. So boom I used it in the lint compartment and got a lot of lint out so I thought, “why stop there let’s take this sucker outside.” I went outside with this and got all the lint out there too. I went back in and started my machine and heard a bunch of stuff flying through the lead out so now I’m excited. I took the back off my machine to see if there was more lint back there and boy oh boy I saw lint galore. I took my phone and used the flashlight to see inside the back of the dryer through the lower funnel. There was so much lint I couldn’t believe it. I took the funnel off my machine and my God. Lint like you’ve never seen before. So I get the cleaning in there. I replaced the funnel and started the machine again to see the stuff actually coming out of the machine from the back. Then, a funny noise started and my machine stopped spinning. I freak out because I ordered this thing without my husband knowing and I tried to be Mrs Fix-it to save some money. I look in the front of the machine and I noticed I didn’t replace the lint trap back in there. Oh my god right. Something from in the dryer got sucked in the lint compartment and clogged something up. Back to YouTube I go. I found this nice guy who instructed me how to take apart my machine. Fast forward, boom, my machine is full open. Top covers off, front panel is off, and guys IT WAS LINT EVERYWHERE. I’m surprised the machine didn’t catch on fire already. There was lint on the wires too. This product got it all and there were a few tight spots I had to reach in. All in all, I was able to put my machine back together and called my husband to brag about saving us hundreds of dollars because I broke and Fixed the machine myself.

Tip: YouTube a how to video and fully open your dryer because there’s lint in places no attachment can reach by simple vacuuming through the exterior accesses. It’s not hard at all.

A must have safety measure

Can you believe I pulled THIS much lint out of the dryer? I didn’t even know this was in the bottom of the vent trap. It was congealed to the wall. After 20 minutes of scraping and vacuum suction tool, I filled an entire pale of lint! I feel much safer knowing this is cleaned. Thank you for such an easy to use product!

It sucked nearly half pound of lint!

I've always wanted to get way in my dryer to get collected lint I knew had to be there. Wow, it sucked out nearly half a pound of lint and debris. There were also stubborn and hard chunks of caked on lint that I scraped from the outside opening with a flexible plastic kitchen tool. Then I remembered I had a new backup Vinyl Duct accordion, snake thing so we pulled the dryer out and boy was it full of dust back there. Then when we removed the old vent, we scraped the hole from the inside out and got the remaining chunks stuck to the sides. (I circled a chunk in the pic.) Plus there was a paper clip and small wrappers.

Now I want to remove the back panel of the dryer after reading the reviews.

The only problem we had were the end of the flat tube kept sucking closed and I had to keep opening it up. One review said she squeezed it to make a circle so that's a good idea otherwise I would given it 5 stars in all categories. The price was a great value.

Best purchase i’ve ever made For a long time, my clothes were getting covered in lint when put in the dryer... some clothes even completely ruined because the lint wouldn’t come off. I tried vacuuming out the lint several times over the past 6 months and nothing would get the lint out. I was thinking about taking my entire dryer apart to get all the lint out. I used this attachment with my vacuum and was able to fill my vacuum completely 3 times with lint. I probably removed enough lint to make a quilt. I highly recommend everyone to own one of these attachments!

Must have tool for a house full of shedding animals Fits my Shark vacuum. I actually used the skinny attachment that came with the vacuum and then put the cone on that. The suction power was incredible. I vacuumed my dryer vent, under the washer/dryer, under the fridge, & under my couch. All of those areas needed vacuuming with 4 shedding pets in the house. The only issue I had was that the end would collapse due to the suction power. It wasn't a huge deal, but maybe the end should be reinforced with an extra layer of the plastic to prevent that from happening.

Wow! This works well! I made sure to empty the vacuum hopper before using the attachment to make sure it was getting stuff out of the dryer vent....What a surprise! We clean the dryer lint catcher after every load because i grew up hearing about dryer fires in houses. Even with our good habits, i knew there was lint still deep in the dryer because i have seen the repair guy open it up. The suction power needs adjusting because the attachment material isnt as rigid as the hose in the vacuum. Good value for peace of mind!

Yes it works with a dyson cordless! Our last dryer pooped out & stopped drying due to all the lint buildup. The repairman said it would be better to replace the 21+ year old dryer with a newer energy star one. So we did. I vowed to keep the new one cleaner/lint free, so I was excited when I came across this tool. In the specs it said compatible with most Dysons so I took a chance. Our new dryer has only been used a dozen times, but boy did I get a lot of lint out! I will be using this often for sure! Going next door to suck out my neighbors lint trap for her too

Easily attaches to your existing vacuum and does a good job The new dryer we got has a really small lint screen and it overfills easily which leads to lint going into the dryer itself and subsequently into the vent tube which can cause a fire and burn your house down! Huge issue, so it's important to clean that out. This attachment fit inside the very small lint window my dryer has and was able to suck up the big pieces that got stuck in there, and I was able to shove it deep enough to get into some of the vent as well. The rest of that part can be done from the outside using a different tool if necessary as well.

if you have dyson stick dont give up! I have v8 dyson and first I thought its not going to work because they have a thick tube (power running through) but the I realize in my accessories i have one of those small flat and ling attachment and that was it, use that one and push it all the way in, it will work, hopefully in the future they would be a seperate attachment adaptor for these type of dyson.

This attatchment was easy yo assemble and fit my dyson vaccume well! It had only been about a month since we took dryer apart to clean the lint because it quit working and smelled hot. That is why we purchased this to begin with so we do not have to go to the hassle again of taking apart. We clean lint trap after each use, so i didnt know if we would get much out of it using this, but gave it a try. I also emltied our vaccume before using so only the dryer lint would be in it to see how it works.. here is a pic of what i got in a minute or so! I also quickly realized there were many places around our home i needed yo use this.. behind furniture, under appliances, under pocket doors, and along seats of our car where no vaccume reaches! Worth the very small investment!

Wish I had used when I first got it!!!! Amazing I got this months ago and just procrastinated to use it. Boy am I glad I finally attached it to my vaccuum! Amazing how much came out. Suck up Hard to Reach Places I bought this tool to help clean out the dryer duct. I did that and then got it under the refrigerator and behind it. The tool fits nicely into small spaces and has quite a bit of suction to pull out the dust and dirt. I then went with it into the garage to pull down all the cob webs, etc. at the ceiling. It worked great, even with the vacuum cleaner extended wand on it. It fits this vacuum nicely (see pic). I have another canister vacuum that it does not fit as the adapter is not large enough to enclose the end of the vacuum. But it worked just fine on this one.

I’m a faithful cleaner of the lint filter, every load. Recently the lint filter wouldn’t go all the way back into place. I used a flash light and could see some lint piled up in the bottom of the compartment but my vacuum attachments were still to big to fit. These inexpensive little product worked SOOOO well. The picture speaks for itself. There was SO much more in there than I ever could have imagined. We’re probably lucky we haven’t had a fire. It’s by no means a high-end product. It requires a little holding in place onto the vacuum while using, and the hoses do pop apart easily. But for the price, and how often I will use it, I’d say very worth it. My dryer is working better as well.
